Sep 16, 2007 · I recently got a 28g HQI Nano Cube and have thought about upgrading the pumps. I think the new JBJ accela pumps are pretty good but the idea of only 260GPH in a 28g when I have almost 400GPH in my 7g seems weak. I thought about upgrading but there is not many choices for increasing the flow. Maxi I have a JBJ nano cube 28 gallon and I am wanting to upgrade the return pump on it. What would be a good return pump that would fit in the back compartment of the tank? Question is a recently picked up a used jbj 28 gal nano cube, would like to replace the 2 return pumps and wondering what others have used with success. I will most likely continue to use the Ocean Pulse Wavemaker - it that makes a difference with pumps.
